Luke has become quite the ladies man. A few weeks ago one of the baseball player's little sister came and got Luke during a game and he pretty much flirted with her the whole game. Now she comes and gets him each game and he sits with all of the precious high school girls. Last Friday he missed meal time by an hour...if you know anything about my little chunk you know he doesn't miss his chance to eat. Derek told me after the game he told his players that Luke Irons was "the man" since he was right in the middle of all of their girls :)
Saturday we went to Greenville to scout the team we will be playing this Friday. I sat my two guys up in the shade, Derek in his chair with his clipboard and stopwatch and Luke beside him in his stroller with his elephant. I of course turned the other way to get a good angle on the sun. I am certain I looked like a crazy person at the ballpark turned the opposite direction of the game but a girls gotta do what she can to get a suntan. We happened to sit close to the Greenville coach's wife and daughter who is 15 months old. She was intrigued by baby "Wuke" and shared all of her toys with him. At one point she decided to kiss him...several times. On the way home Luke was passed out in his car seat and Derek said, "tough day, first kiss and all."
