1 Month
Alex turned one month old on Thursday. Here is a link to my post when Luke turned one month. He is still the sweetest little baby. It's hard for me to put him down or to not spend all of my free time kissing those sweet cheeks. He reminds me so much of Luke when he was this age...very chill and content. He is eating 3-4 ounces 7 times a day. He loves his Fisher Price rock and sleeper. We moved him to his room at night and I am sleeping much better because I don't hear all of his baby noises. He, like Luke, sleeps with his eyes open sometimes. When Luke was a baby Dr. Roy told me this was totally normal for a baby. It is still really strange to me.
I can't wait to watch him grow and change over the next month. We love you Alex!
Life with Two
I can't believe it has already been one month since we welcomed sweet Alex into our family. To be totally honest with you it has not been too hard of a transition. I think it was harder to be in my third trimester pregnant and take care of a toddler than it is to have a toddler and newborn. Of course, Alex is a very easy-going little guy. He is sleeping very well at night going 5 or so hours between feedings. During the day he eats every 3 hours. I've learned to plan Luke's snack time or TV time around those feedings. Luke loves to "help" with Alex's feedings so if I can distract him it makes things a little easier. Luke is the sweetest big brother. He already looks out for his little brother and it makes me so proud. He is constantly giving him kisses and bringing him his bottle and paci when he cries. I love my boys so much and I can't get enough kisses from either of them.

Alex's Newborn Pictures
Once again, my friend Candace has captured sweet memories for us and done a fabulous job. She put this little video together for us. We love you Candace!

Luke's 2nd Birthday
Luke turned TWO Monday and we had a little party Saturday to celebrate. We had it our church gym and I think the kids had fun playing together and running around the gym. Luke always enjoys watching the big kids so that part was fun for him as well. Instead of birthday presents we asked for donations to Neverthirst in memory of Luke's friend Shep. We had a great time celebrating this precious little life that the Lord has entrusted to us and we are so thankful to our friends who came to celebrate with us.
Dreamfield Farms and Pumpkin Patch
Last Friday Grana and Papa were in town so we loaded up both boys and went to the Dreamfield Farms Pumpkin Patch near Union Springs. Luke had a big time! They had several age appropriate activities for Luke but I think he would have spent the entire time in the corn boxes.
